Every year 100 billion new items of clothing are produced while a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in a landfill every second.<\/p>

Slowing down fast fashion is a good first step, but just slowing it down won't actually stop it.<\/p>

But when the waste material is taken at the end to make new products from it at the start, it changes everything.<\/p>

That's what happens with ours!<\/p>

Our products and packaging are made from natural materials, not plastic. And every product made is designed to be sent back when it is worn out.<\/p>

The company I collaborate with make new products from the material that\u2019s recovered, and the cycle itself is renewable. The products are designed be returned and remade, new from old, again and again and again.<\/p>

A pure material makes remanufacturing possible, and means products that are softer, and not harmful to the environment.<\/p>

For every order made during our \u2018One Tee One Kg\u2019 promotion, a kilogram of ocean-bound plastic is recovered and recycled - the equivalent of 50 plastic bottles. We count the orders and\u00a0fund the plastic recovery that is done through our friends over at Plastic Bank.\u00a0<\/p>

Our friends at Plastic Bank have removed over 15 million kilograms of ocean-bound plastic, recovering enough plastic to circle the Earth with straws 2,700 times!<\/p>

Plastic Bank projects pay collectors to remove waste from coastal communities in Haiti, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil. Their collectors gather plastic waste from streets, households, and informal dump sites, properly disposing of plastic waste before it ends up in the ocean. The plastic is recycled and reborn as Social Plastic to be remade into new products as part of a closed-loop supply chain. Amazing work!<\/p>
