Did you know that from the 1 billion items of clothing made each year, nearly 40% of all production is never utilised, meaning a dump truck of textiles waste goes straight to landfill, every second.

And climate change is because of stuff like this.

CO2 pollution occurs as part of the process of making things.

That's why these products and packaging are made differently, all made from natural materials, not plastic.

Every product made is designed to be sent back to us when it is worn out - we make new products from the material we recover, so the cycle itself is renewable.

The factory is powered by renewable energy.

The sun powers the machines that make our products in real time, in the seconds after they're ordered. Making only what people need, when they need it.

Instead of making more things and hoping for change, we exist to change the way things are made.

That's what sustainability means to us.

So why plant trees too? Well why not?

To be as effective as possible, we partner with various tree-planting projects and organisations. Most of them are international, to have the biggest impact.

So far these partnerships have mostly contributed to projects that have reforested large areas of Madagascar.

Since Buy One Get One Tree first started, the factory has planted over 17 hectares of trees = 21 football pitches worth of reforesting.

These trees help keep the Madagascan coast line stable, diversifying and restoring the natural balance of nature, preserving the environment for native species and ecosystems.

The project also offers long-term employment to local communities and improves the livelihood for local workers.

These tree planting organisations are focused on maintaining natural biodiversity and combating deforestation, working in areas where the trees are needed the most.

Getting involved in this campaign is easy.

It's automatically enabled so every order placed between 9am Friday and midnight Sunday is counted up and the funding sent to these partners.

Every minute, the equivalent of 36 football fields are lost to deforestation. To change this we need to work together.
